In the Spotlight: Stirling Moss Trophy

Posted on 23 April 2017

Motor Racing Legends’ sumptuous race series – where the drivers are competing for the actual cup that Sir Stirling Moss won in the 1955 British Grand Prix – transports spectators back to an era when legends were created.

The straight-six, V8 and V12 engines of these purpose-built, genuine pre-61 sports-racers sound simply fantastic – and these incredible machines look even better than they sound! You’re likely to see an impressive range of Listers barrelling towards Redgate when the lights go green, but look out also for the Ferrari 246S that took victory at DHF last year.

Other highlights include the distinctive Willment Climax, some nimble Elvas and an ex-words Cooper T39 Bobtail. Qualifying – 11.05am on Friday April 28, followed by a 60-minute race at 15.25 on Saturday April 29.
